Philosophy in Life

I love to dream since childhood. Most of the time it is very abstract and ambiguous in nature, and very difficult to interpret. Star gazing lying on a cot is most enjoyable thing in my school days. It constantly comes to my mind why so many stars are around us. Why we fail to discover intelligent species outside earth? What is purpose of our life? Why we die? And so many why.

Then I start my journey to discover the meaning of things (both living and nonliving) around us. Every day I try to create opportunity to know the different perspectives following ancient Indian traditional approach blended with modern scientific temper and method.

There are six methods or pramana of knowledge attainment mentioned in ancient texts available in our country. These are Pratyaksha, or direct knowledge, Anumana or deduction, Upmana or metaphors, Arthpatti or hypotheses, Anuplabdhi or absence, Shabda, or the knowledge received from the experts/knowers of the domain.

Scientific methods of knowledge acquisition is characterized by six key elements: questions, hypotheses, experiments, observations, analyses, and conclusions.

I will blend the above two approach and try to find some different hidden meaning and purpose of things around us.

Let’s have this wonderful journey.
